Is Colorado Ridge part of a denomination?

Colorado Ridge is affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant denomination. With its roots in the Protestant Reformation in Sweden, the Evangelical Covenant is a growing denomination that adheres to the affirmation of historical and Biblical Christianity.  The Covenant Church believes the following:

1. The centrality of the Word of God (II Timothy 3:16)
2. The necessity of the new birth in Christ (John 3:3, 14:6)
3. The church as a fellowship of believers (I Corinthians 12:12-13)
4. A conscious dependence on the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:25)
5. The reality of freedom in Christ (John 8:31-32, Galatians 5:1)

What makes the Covenant unique is the fact that while it strongly affirms the clear belief of the Word of God and the headship of Christ, it allows believers the personal freedom to have varying interpretations on issues that are not clearly presented in the Bible.
